Photo & Film Shooting
We are happy to offer you an interesting backdrop for photo, film and video shoots. However, due to the security regulations at an airport, this is not possible without restrictions. In order for us to be able to provide you with a quotation and to have enough time to include all involved parties, we kindly ask you to fill in the form at least 15 working days before the start of the shoot.
General Conditions
A fee must be paid for recordings in all areas of Bern Airport that serve commercial purposes (including cinema or television films) or advertising. Photographs for company brochures and annual reports are also subject to a fee. Recordings that serve to provide the public with up-to-date information are free of charge. The fees are based on the fee table.
Important information:
- Additional services required, such as extraordinary electrical installations (electrician's working hours), scaffolding, barriers, cleaning, parking, etc. will be charged at cost.
- Recordings during the night and at weekends are generally not approved.
- Bern Airport must be recognisable as such on the photographs and videos. No third-party airport logos may be used, nor may the infrastructure be distorted and/or altered.
- While in non-public areas at Bern Airport, all participants must carry official identification.
Airport operations and passenger flow must not be impaired in any way. Instructions given by the escorts and the terminal management must be obeyed in any case. In the event of scheduling conflicts or special occurrences, recordings may be cancelled at short notice despite prior scheduling. Flughafen Bern AG is entitled to withdraw without compensation if security concerns do not permit filming or photography.
With the granting of the permit, Bern Airport assumes no liability for accidents, damage or theft caused or suffered by the applicant. In particular, access to the airport area that is not open to the public is at the applicant's own risk. If an applicant withdraws after a reconnaissance, Flughafen Bern AG reserves the right to charge for the estimated time.
