The airport up close on a guided airport tour.
Take a look behind the scenes on a guided airport tour on foot and discover what it takes to ensure a smooth daily operation of the airport. Depending on the actual air traffic situation on the day you can obtain an insight view of various sectors of aviation such as commercial scheduled and charter traffic, business jets, airport fire service, maintenance and repair organisations, general aviation and the REGA Swiss Air Ambulance. It is not possible to visit the Air Traffic Control Tower.
Airport guided tours can be arranged for any day except on Sundays and public holidays.
The price for an airport guided tour is CHF 170 for up to 15 persons and CHF 340 for up to 30 persons. There is a special price for school classes of CHF 120 for 15 persons.
As of 2025: CHF 180 for up to 15 persons; special price for school classes of CHF 130 for 15 persons.
An airport tour lasts 1.5 hours.
Application and registration deadline for an airport tour must be at least three weeks in advance.
Enjoy light refreshments at the airport (advance order required and for an additional charge) after your guided airport tour and watch aircraft take off and land nearby. For an additional charge you can also combine this with a sightseeing flight by helicopter.
Visitors on an airport tour are asked not to bring any dangerous objects such as knives, penknives, and scissors with them.
For enquiries or definite bookings, please fill out the registration form.
In addition, we need a complete list with the names of the participants of airport tours ahead of the tour date. The list can be sent online with this form.
The site plan will help you find your way around the airport.
